South Florida Black Journalists AssociationMembership

Membership in SFBJA helps journalists build stronger networks, facilitates career growth, and helps maintain the highest standards of excellence in the profession. The types of memberships that SFBJA offers is below.

Full Membership: Full members are professionals who are directly involved in disseminating news in the print, broadcast, or electronic media. This group includes reporters, editors, anchors, producers, directors, photographers, and full-time freelance journalists.

Associate Membership: Associate members are public relations/public information professionals, high school or college journalism teachers, writers and journalists temporarily out of work.

Student Membership: Student members are full-time high school or college students studying journalism or an area in the communications field

Power Partners: Power Partners are corporations, group, and individual sponsors.
