SFBJA hosts the Black Male Media Project

The South Florida Black Journalists Association will host a discussion about the image of Black men in the media, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10 at the Broward County South Regional Library.

This is a nationwide initiative organized by the National Association of Black Journalists. Through a forum that includes a video presentation and a panel discussion, SFBJA is highlighting local male journalists who are contributing to telling stories about black men and their relationship with the media.

A  networking  portion of the program will connect  aspiring journalists to the professionals for mentor/mentee relationships. The event is free and open to the public.
